Your enquiry, supported by MedDocCall
For questions about skin, hair or nail care, MedDocCall can help enquire about an online conversation with a dermatologist at a partner hospital in India. We check the hospital’s acceptance process and practical requirements. A listed dermatology department does not mean every concern can be assessed online.
MedDocCall is a UK-based coordination service. We arrange communication and appointments; hospital clinicians provide medical advice. Acceptance depends on your location, the case and the clinician’s availability and scope.
Explain the purpose of the appointment
You might want to discuss advice you have already received, ask about an existing dermatology report or understand a proposed care plan. A brief initial enquiry can identify the department without including photographs or intimate details. The dermatologist decides which information is needed for clinical assessment.
Check whether photographs are needed before sharing them
The hospital may ask for photographs or earlier records through an agreed process. Ask which images it needs, how they should be taken and who will receive them. Do not submit skin photographs, identifying images or images of intimate areas through MedDocCall’s general enquiry form. We do not offer an automated photo-diagnosis service.
Understand the limits of a remote appointment
A photograph or video call does not provide every kind of examination. The clinician may recommend an in-person assessment or decide the case is unsuitable for remote review. An online discussion is not a promise of a diagnosis, a cosmetic procedure or a prescription that can be used in the UK.
Clarify the plan for follow-up
Before booking, ask how questions after the appointment will be handled and whether another appointment would have a separate fee. If the specialist recommends a local examination, discuss where and when to obtain it with an appropriate clinician. If you later choose an appointment in India, the arrangements can be considered separately.
